Wood ‘n’ Ribbon is a unique setting as everything on site has been designed and build by Adam and Rachel, with the help from their family and friends.

The Wood’n’Ribbon tearoom first opened on 1st May 2018. After a life living and working in pubs, owner Rachel loves being around people and meeting new faces. Rachel’s childhood also sparked an interest in food, as she would grab every chance she could to get in the kitchen and see what the chefs were up to. Her passion for the hospitality industry, desire to work with people and her own love of baking, inspired Rachel and Adam to open Wood’n’Ribbon in Hopton Heath. Adam is the Wood and Rachel is the Ribbon within Wood’n’Ribbon, combining their two passions.

Since its beginnings, the tearooms are now an adored homage to the 1940’s-1950’s era when afternoon tea was used as a way to celebrate an occasion. The tearooms are decorated with kitsch interiors with a truly boutique feel. In addition to intimate tables for 2-4 people, a private booth area is also available – a truly vintage touch – and this look and feel is carried out throughout the tearooms from the crockery to the ornaments and décor. The look and feel of the tearoom is influenced by Rachel’s background in dance and theatre for an experience like no other tearoom you will get in the county.
